ABOUT FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY

Led by a volunteer board, the Friends are a group of local citizens who care about our public library. We contribute time, effort and resources to promote and support public library resources and community programs. By underwriting acquisitions and activities at and for the benefit of the Racine Public Library, we seek to help keep this community institution growing and teaching for generations to come.
In addition to providing material and moral support to the the mission and activities of the library, the Friends work as advocates for the library, as necessary.
